UPDATE (April 1, 2017) - Updated definition and replaced "compliments and admiration" and "singular or trivial behaviour" with "passive criticism or ridicule".
Words have specific meanings. You can't throw around buzzwords and expect to either win an argument or make it seem more valid than it actually is. You also can't stretch their definitions to fit your position.
